TAIYUAN Renathing Clothing Showroom Design
The cultural landscape of the city often serves as a source of inspiration for our creations. Understanding the environment we are in is crucial. During the process of researching the environment and history of the project, the uniqueness of the project will naturally reveal itself. Meanwhile, the surrounding environment tends to present a grey and monotonous feeling, and we hope this project embodies a clean and bright sensation!

The project is an independent three-story old building, located at the corner of an intersection. This architectural environment and location represent both a commitment and a challenge, while also being rare. Considering the original building structure’s deterioration over time and the severe cold weather in northern winters, we often contemplate the relationship between design and people when planning the building’s appearance. We do not want it to be ostentatious or imposed upon people but rather to be felt naturally. Thus, we decided to use an array-style façade window and increase the number of windows. After aesthetic considerations regarding size, we finalized the length and height of the windows, ensuring that indoor light is permeable while also connecting and interacting with external factors such as weather, seasons, and light.

Elegance is not about catching someone’s attention momentarily; it is about making a lasting impression! To challenge and reshape the past, we extract a kind of purity of a new era from the complexity of perception, allowing people to feel the transformative power of fashion.
